Theia makes trailblazing alternative music with ethereal folk; indigenous soul and art rock influences. She is known for her fearless and formidable anthems, which challenge social injustices, and her captivating performances.

Theia's debut album GIRL, IN A SAVAGE WORLD was released on November 7 to critical acclaim; debuting at #11 in the Official Aotearoa Top 20 Album chart.

Theia has  been a finalist in the Waiata Māori Music Awards and has received multiple nominations in the Aotearoa Music Awards (formerly the NZ Music Awards), including 'Single of the Year' in 2025 for her epic protest anthem, BALDH3AD!

A consummate performer, Theia has toured  NZ several times over and  has played at many of country's largest festivals. They include WOMAD, Splore, The Others Way, CubaDupa, Homegrown, R&V, Electric Avenue and Bay Dreams. She has also opened for  international acts such as Peaches, Sia, Charli XCX, Mika and Portugal. The Man.

Having been based in LA since 2023, Theia has spent the last two summers performing across the USA and Canada.  Highlights include Block Heater (Calgary), Belltown Bloom (Seattle), Sum Of Us (California), Toronto Pride, SubCulture (LA), Babes on Babes (Vancouver), She Fest (San Diego), San Diego Pride, Miami Beach Pride, Women’s Freedom Festival (LA), Missoula Pride (Montana), WestSide Culture Fest (Utah), Pioneer Square Festival (Seattle) and DTLA Proud (LA). She recently supported Los Bitchos in LA on their US tour.

Theia will be touring in New Zealand in early 2026.
